Mark your calendars as the Brokenhead River Game and Fish Association will be hosting the 24th Annual Awards Banquet and Auction on April 22, 2023 at the Brokenhead Room of the Beausejour Community Hall where Evolve Specialty Catering will be providing an all you can eat Walleye and Barbecue Beef Dinner. Cocktails at 5:30pm Dinner at 6:30pm.


Ticket Prices are $65 for Adults, $30 for Youth Ages 6 to 12, 5 and under are free. Sponsor tables are available ($670).

This year we are offering a Table Sponsor option where for $670 you’ll receive 8 adult tickets and you or your business will be advertised throughout the evening including display of your company logo in the slide show. Also, each table sponsor will receive one entry in a special draw that is solely for table sponsors. In this draw you will have a chance to win a rifle. So if we have 10 Table sponsors you’ll have a 1 in 10 chance at winning the rifle.


We will be awarding “Covid Years Awards” for Big Game, Fish and the Photography contest, both youth and adult categories will be presented. To be eligible you must have been a paid member during any of the 2019 to 2022 calendar years.

For these awards please submit an official score sheet for your best entry in each Big Game category (only one entry per species per person….so choose your best entry out of the past 4 seasons).

If you have not yet had your antlers scored, we will be hosting an antler scoring day at Ray Schirle’s business in the Beausejour Industrial Park stay tuned for more specific details for that event.


As in the past we will be awarding prizes for any of our members who harvested their first Big Game animal in any of the 2019 to 2022 hunting seasons, so be sure to let us know of your entry for this special award.


Entries for Big Game, Fish and the Photography contest can be submitted to:  Please note that permission to display your photos in a slide show on the night of the banquet is considered to be granted to our committee by submitting them in this fashion.


We will once again be presenting a Hard Luck Draw so be sure to bring any unused tags the night of the banquet to enter them in the draw.


If you your business or your employer are able to provide us with a donation that can be offered as a prize please contact Dawn Scarfe or Paul Millan.


At the banquet we will be showcasing some of the same games and events as in previous years but will have a few new ones too, so you can look forward to a fun filled enjoyable event.


We will also be in need of volunteers to set up before and during the evening of the banquet so if you can lend a hand please let us know.
